Die Anregung der eigenen Vorstellungskraft durch Stimmen und Geräusche – und die Macht des Theaters: – Illusionen zu erzeugen-  brachte uns auf die Idee, eine Verbindung zwischen beiden „Spielformen“ herzustellen. Daher schrieb Daniel Sempf im Herbst 2009 das erste Hörtheatrale-Stück: Der Teufelsfuß, nach einer Kriminalgeschichte von Arthur Conan Doyle.

Daraufhin gab es über 40 Veranstaltungen in und um Marburg, in Clubs (CAVETE Marburg), Bars (Hirsch – heute Homage), Schulen (Bibliothek der Blindenstudienanstalt Marburg), Spiegelslustturm Marburg (Cafe) und Kinos (Cineplex Marburg).

Seit 2014 ist der Lomonssowkeller in Marburg unsere feste Spielstätte geworden. Hier finden regelmäßig Veranstaltungen statt.

Motiviert durch die große positive Resonanz, gab es schließlich im Jahre 2010 den ersten Hörtheatersommer in Marburg, der an der Waggonhalle stattfand. Das Stück hieß: Der Hund von Baskerville, nach einer Kriminalgeschichte von Arthur Conan Doyle. Ein Live-Hörspiel für vier Sprecher, erstmals dabei war Christine Reinhard und weitere Darsteller.

Schnell folgten weitere Stücke und weitere Einladungen in verschiedenste Institutionen und Clubs. 2012 spielte das Stück: DRACULA in Rüsselsheim im Rahmen des Kultursommers, im Innenhof des alten Opel-Werkes. 2013 eröffneten wir in Köln die Hörspiel-Arena mit dem Stück: Das gefleckte Band. Seit 2014 sind wir mit unseren Stücken auf der SherloCON vertreten.

2018 verlieh uns die Deutsche Sherlock-Holmes-Gesellschaft den „Blauen Karfunkel“, als Anerkennung für unsere Arbeit mit dem Stoff um die literarische Figur des Sherlock Holmes.
